Practicing Glimmers
Victoria Spashchenko
Room: Arendt - Thu. 01:30-03:30 pm
Content
Glimmering is helpful and healthy, even (or especially) in emotionally challenging times, no wonder it is included in the Ukrainian National Mental Health Program's “How are you?”.
In contrast to triggers, glimmers calm your nervous system, make you feel stronger and safer, and contribute to resilience.
Glimmering fits perfectly within the SF framework: it’s all about shifting the focus, cultivating noticing, and creating positive micro-steps that lead to big changes!
In this workshop, we experience glimmering through activities and discuss how glimmers can support you and your clients.
Take aways
-
(Re-)discover Glimmering as an SFA practice.
-
Bridge glimmering experiences and a Miracle Question.
-
Discuss how glimmering in conversations can benefit our social interactions.
